Bernard Israel Shenkman

Bernard Israel Shenkman passed away at his home in Miami, FL on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at the age of 87. Bernard, son of Sara and Mack Shenkman, predeceased by brother Gerald Shenkman and son Stephen Shenkman. Bernard is survived by his loving wife Ana Lacombe of 29 years, son Craig Shenkman (Christine), daughter Mindee Shenkman (Neil Bulbin), brother Philip Shenkman (Phyllis), his nephews Howard, Jackson, Josh, Victor, Michael, Curtis, Olavo, and Armando, nieces Melissa (Angel), Jennifer (Scott),Silvia (Marcio), and sister-in-law Rosa Herz.

Bernard was born in West Palm Beach on December 31, 1928. Graduated from Miami High, went on to University of FL and graduated from University of Miami with a degree in accounting. He enjoyed working for his many clients in his own CPA practice. He had an insatiable appetite for golfing and traveling. True Miami native, Gator/Hurricane fan, member of Doral Country Club and wanted the “Dew Sweepers” to know he always enjoyed their company. To his close circle of golfing buddies…he loved you guys! “Food, Wine & Schmooze” gang, great times always! We will miss you greatly Bernard!!!
