My most sincere condolences to Bernie's family. Bernie - what a great man. It is my pleasure to have known him and to have learned from him. Our adventures in art together will stay with me always, and i have him to thank (and Howard you too !) for helping to build my business, trusting in me, challenging me and encouraging me - not to mention making me work harder to make him happy and to creating an even better result than I could imagine. He was an inspiration to me and I know, to countless others. Rest in peace Bernie, for you have earned a little break. Wherever you are, I hope a beautiful sports-car awaits .

Dear Jessie, Howard, Helena and the rest of his sisters and grandchildren. BW was one of my good bosses together with Mark Starkman and his long time secretary, Carmen Carbajal. BW was a good person, great business man, intense in everything he did but with a good heart and sense of humor. I always remembered this one time the office group going to lunch and the waiter asking do you want Perrier water, Evian water, etc. etc. and BW replying "water from Biscayne bay is fine". We all had to laugh.
He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Bernie was definitely one of the good guys. He will definitely be missed by many. May he rest in peace. My guess is he is up in heaven right now organizing a meeting with fellow AEPi brothers who got there ahead of him.
