I was privileged to sing with Cliff and The Lazy River Boys in the great PI Lam days at the U of Fla. So sad his voice is now silenced.  Great person. Deep condolences to his family.

Ronnie Shane gave me the sad news a few days ago. The Suchmans were our next door neighbors more than 40 years ago when I was a kid. I have many fond memories of those years, including Cliff inviting us out on his new boat. I pretended not to be seasick. 

Once the Suchmans moved to the Palmetto area, we visited their new home only once. I remember all the land they had, and playing in the back yard. Over the following decades it was always comforting and like a connection to the past to see the Suchman real estate signs throughout Kendall.

Cliff approached me at my mother's funeral service in late 2008. I really appreciated that. I was in bad shape. It helped to speak to someone who I hadn't seen in decades. The Suchmans also sent a very thoughtful donation to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Society after my father's death in 2012.

My condolences to the Suchman family, and also to the Shanes. It's been a huge benefit to always have such friendly and dependable neighbors on SW 51 St.

Cliff was a earthly light and we're sure his light will shine in the better place his spirit now occupies.

Cliff always said the kindest things to me, the last thing he told me "You're doing a good job with that little girl" referring to my 8 year old daughter, Jessie Ray.  Cliff is like another Father to David Greenhouse, my Father who is already missing Cliff greatly.  My heart goes out to the Suchman Family as I know how loved he is.    I have so much gratitude for all love they have showed to my family over the years.

My sincere condolences to your family in this time of sadness.  I remember Cliff back in the 50's early 60's when he was going to school and worked at my father's store, Dean's Men's Wear, on the Trail over the holidays and his breaks from school.  His father's office was in my Dad's store so we heard many stories on how Cliff and family were doing. Cliff and my Dad, Leonard Bernstein, were charter members of 21Grand back in those days.  Always knew Cliff would succeed and go places.  May he RIP and may the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Cousin Cliff was like a 2nd Father to me. He gave me the keys to kingdoms . Which were paradoxically inside all along. Generous, kind loving, caring, considerate, patient, a good listener... .Farewell Sir. We shall meet again. Thank you. Great Job! Thank you, Love and Light. Y'hei sh'lama raba min sh'maya.
