I was so so sorry to learn of Danny’s recent passing.  Danny was my Pledgemaster when I joined the Lambda Deuteron chapter at U of Miami in 1977.  Danny showed my fellow pledges and me the true meaning of brotherhood and friendship.  I hope the wonderful memories of times spent together bring comfort to all his family and friends.

Dan is one of those very rare people whose spirit is larger than life. Those of us who knew him thru FIU, always "forgave" his UM connections. In our hearts, he was a Panther. To know him was to witness everything that is joyous.  It has been an absolute honor.

Our deepest condolences to the Salzverg family.   Danny has left many precious memories that will be remembered always in our heart. May those memories bring you comfort as you reflect on good times shared.  May the love of the Christ bring you peace. John 6:40.  Our heartfelt prayers.

I  will remember Danny as the guy with a smile, ready to listen in times of trouble and always prepared to help whoever needed it.
Good man, good husband and father and the best friend ever.

I will always remember one time that he was not feeling well and Gisela called rescue. As he was leaving in the ambulance, I told him that I would be praying for him and his prompt reply was ..... "I take prayers in all denominations". 

I know that heaven is now a better place.

When Danny Salzverg greets you--whether acquaintance or close friend--you are instantly transformed into the most important person in the world. Your joy is Danny's joy. Carefully fitting you for your graduation robe, running in to you at a political function or at Fox's, wherever he finds you, he embraces you. Such a greeting is a gift--I have long sought to emulate your example, Danny. I will redouble my efforts. Thank you for making me feel so special every time our paths have crossed.
