David Allen Arnowitz

ARNOWITZ, David 80 of Aventura passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Husband of Sylvia, a caring and loving father of Audrie and Brad Arnowitz. Grandfather of Maxwell Gerstein, Isabella Gerstein, Alexa Arnowitz and Cory Arnowitz, a loyal and devoted brother of Larry and Freddy Arnowitz. David was as strong-willed as he was a strong man. A true protector of his daughter Audrie and their special bond. He was also a gentle man, a man who would selflessly give of himself to others. David a “self-made man” and true visionary created the popular 80’s South Florida restaurant chain, Salad Scene. David truly enjoyed his massage chair, attending the “lunch-bunch” and playing poker with his friends. David, an avid car lover and his son Brad shared a special, impenetrable, and unbreakable bond as they were not only father and son, but they were also the closest and best of friends spending almost every day together. Funeral services Friday, January 20, 2023 11:00 AM at Lakeside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 10301 NW 25th St, Miami, FL 33172. Family will be sitting shiva at the home of Brad Arnowitz Friday until Sundown, Sunday 1pm until Sundown and Monday 1pm until Sundown. 4000 Island Boulevard, Apt. 402, Aventura, FL 33160.
