Donald was the proud father of four children, Jeff (Cathy), Lori, Mark (LaDonna), who preceded him in death, and Karen (Paul). He was also a devoted grandfather to four grandchildren, Hoyt (Danielle), Casey (Matt), Jana, Jason and Jolie, each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness. Donald leaves behind his devoted brother, Marshal (Hanna), who will forever hold him close in his heart and memory. He also leaves behind his companion, Laura. Family was the heart of his world, and his wisdom, humor, and warmth will remain with them always.
Born with a keen intellect and an unwavering sense of justice, Donald devoted his life to the practice of law. He started his career in law working closely with his father, Morris. Over the course of his distinguished career, he earned the admiration of colleagues and clients alike for his integrity, wit, and tireless dedication. He truly loved the law-not only as a profession, but as a calling that reflected his deep belief in fairness and the power of reason.
Beyond his work, Donald lived a full and vibrant life. In his younger years, he could often be found on the golf course perfecting his swing, on the tennis court with friends and family, or enjoying the quiet peace of a day spent fishing. These pursuits reflected his balance between focus and joy, competition and calm.
Those who knew Donald will remember his sharp mind, generous spirit, and gentle guidance. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched-through his family, his friendships, and the countless people he helped throughout his life and career.
