Eric Abrams It is with deep sorrow that our family announces the passing of Eric (Rick) A. Abrams on May 11, 2022. Rick was born on May 21, 1944, to Mildred and William Abrams in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He spent his entire childhood in Weirton, West Virginia, where he played high school football. Rick was awarded a football scholarship at the University of Miami, where he met his wife of 55 years, Lois. The University of Miami and all of their sports teams were his passion throughout his life. He always attended as many games as he could, eventually becoming a football referee. Rick’s love of sports was something he shared with his sons. Rick built a career in sales and worked in different industries developing close friendships wherever he went. In addition to his wife Lois, he leaves behind his (2) sons: William (Bill) and Greg (Jessica), (4) grandchildren: Samantha, Jacob, Michael and Stephanie Abrams, his sister Donna Stein, many nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends. Rick’s resilience, strength and positive attitude helped him overcome his many health challenges throughout the years. He was a survivor who lived his life to the fullest! May he Rest In Peace.
