OBITUARY

Eugenia Behar

February 14, 1932September 8, 2020

In loving memory of Eugenia (Jenny) Behar, who passed peacefully in her sleep on September 8, 2020. Jenny is survived by children Victoria (Jaime) Behar-Zusman and Salvador (Dale) Behar; grandchildren, Donna (Hans-Inge), Jeremy, Elias, Elliot and Eugenia Claire; great grandson Finn; brother Samuel (Magali) Naon; and loving nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her sister, Mary, and her husband, Elias Behar, next to whom she will be laid to rest, reunited after 18 years. Jenny was an accomplished professional, who directed the pharmacy at two major hospitals, Good Samaritan in Los Angeles, and Baptist Hospital in Miami. Despite her professional accomplishments she was always modest and focused on the needs of others first. Her empathy led her to shed tears of pain at every bit of suffering she saw in the world and tears of gratitude for the joy and kindness of others. Jenny was a uniquely kind, wise and gentle soul - her goodness was "baked in" and survived until her final moments and will live on with those who love her.

My dear friends Vicky, Jaime, and Jeremy, Eliott and Donna:

After so many years of knowing you I know what a loving bunch you all are. Eugenia was a kind and gentle soul indeed, and I know how painful her passing must be. As a person of faith, I believe that her soul will rejoice at the reunion with her beloved husband and both will rejoice in the presence of our mighty G_d. She will always be remembered and loved.
You are all in my prayers, and although this is a pain I don't think anyone fully overcomes, her memory and the love she had for all of you will slowly bring peace and healing knowing she is in the presence of G_d.

My most sincere condolences in this very difficult time, and please know that I am always here for you.

Diego
