Beloved wife of Walter Kamlot.
Cherished mother of Mordecai Kamlot (Simcha), Ruth Chislett (Gregg), and Alan Kamlot.
Loving grandmother of Ralph Chislett, Sean Chislett, Matthew Kamlot, and David Kamlot.
Eve, known as Cushy, was born in London, England in 1934 to Morris Rosten and Hettie (Ravech) Rosten. Eve was sent to live in Auckland, New Zealand during the war, and spent a happy childhood with Bill, Lucy, and Billy Daniels. Reunited with her parents after the war, she attended St. Cuthbert’s College in Auckland and then studied piano at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Australia. Eve traveled by ship from New Zealand with her accordion and her saxophone (her piano wouldn’t fit). She arrived in the United States on New Year’s Day 1957, where she met and married her true love, Walt, in New York City that same year.
Eve’s interests were traveling, baking, and reading, but her true passions were family and music.
