Gerald "Jerry" Geist, a resident of Miami, FL, and Beech Mountain, NC, passed away on April 11, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1940, in the Bronx, New York, to parents Molly and Jack Geist. He was predeceased by his devoted sister, Carol Goldstein.
Jerry attended college at the University of Alabama and pharmacy school at the University of Florida, settling in Miami as a pharmacist and business owner for over 50 years.
Jerry was a lifelong sports enthusiast with a deep love for travel and animals. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Jerry's greatest priority-and his enduring legacy-was his family.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Vicki Geist; his children Andrew, Geoffrey, Jodi, and Gregory; and his four grandsons, in whom he took immense pride, notably his eldest grandsons, Nicholas and Benjamin.
Jerry will be remembered with deep love by his family and his many friends. He was a kind and generous man who lived a full and meaningful life. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The funeral will be held on April 15, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels at Mount Nebo. Following the funeral, the family will be sitting Shiva at 8440 S.W. 107th Street, Miami, Florida 33156.
