As a survivor of the Holocaust, she moved to the US in 1949, with her family that included her husband Michael and her parents Leah and Berko Fagenman, while awaiting the birth of her son. She was very devoted to her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved and adored by all and will be truly missed.
Goldie is survived by her only son Gary Kornik; and her loving daughter-in-law Judith Klein Kornik; the family of her grandson Joshua S. Kornik his wife Kay Morrison Kornik and their son Robert; the family of her grandaughter Erika Kornik Schiffman and husband Dr. Lawrence Schiffman and their children Max and Leah.
Goldie was preceded in death by her husband Michael Kornik; father Berko Fagenman and mother Leah Goodman.
A graveside service for Goldie will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Lakeside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami, FL 33172. A burial will occur at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th Street, Miami, Florida 33172.
