In memory of my dear friend Yossi,
I find myself at a loss for words at this shocking and unexpected news. I will miss him greatly, and treasure the memories of the many good times we spent together. I enjoyed his warmth and his sense of humor, and admired his passion and achievements in Physics. Above all, he was a wonderful kind, caring human being.

Dr. Ashkenazi,

You changed the way I looked at physics. Even in the two months I knew you, I looked forward going to your class every tuesday & thursday at 2 pm. You will be sorely missed. Physics will not be the same without you.
