Joseph Roisman Obituary
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph “Yosele” Roisman. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Aida, his sister Ofelia, his sons Maurice (Sherrie), Regan (Julie), Michael, and Justin (Lauren), and his grandchildren Zachary, Ellie, Matthew, David and Ari.
Joseph was born in Havana, Cuba in 1946 and in 1961 fled to Israel. During his time in Israel, he went to school and then served in the IDF, including being called to active service during the Six Day War. After living and serving in Israel for seven years, he was reunited with his family in Miami, where he met his beloved Aida. They married in 1970 and built a beautiful family of their own.
In addition to his devotion to his family and his career, Joe was passionate about his community; serving on countless boards and committees. He could always be counted on to give of himself to anyone in need. His influence on our lives and the lives of the community will be felt for years to come.
May his memory be a blessing.
