Judith Rose Jacobs “Judy” of Boca Raton, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 1st, at the age of 78 years old. She was born on August 3rd, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in a navy family, living in places such as Virginia before ending up in Tom’s River, New Jersey.
She graduated from Tom’s River High School South in 1962.
For a majority of Judy’s life, she was a stay-at-home mother but found herself in various jobs and at one point claimed the title of “Tupperware queen” that she sold to other navy wives. Her final occupation was as a dispatcher for Star Clippers.
Judy was passionate about the Hallmark channel, Vera Bradley purses, had a large collection of well-cared-for shoes, but her primary focus was always family first.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Ester and Erwin Westle, and her ex-husband, Kenneth Jacobs.
Judy is survived by her children; daughter Francine (Robert) Schubert, son Saul Jacobs, grandson Ryan (Alice) Trivett, granddaughter Kaitlyn Jacobs, brother Arthur (Charlotte) Westle, Tommy (Robin) Westle, Robert (Diane) Westle, nieces Danielle, Jenny (Brian with daughter Madison), Paula (with daughter Anna and granddaughters Alasia and Indigo), Missy (Bryan with daughter Emma), nephews Jeremy, Andrew (Jamie with children Zoe and Ella), Scott, Geoff (Joyce with children Andrew and Emma), Bishop (Brittany), step grandchildren Chris (Sammie) and Brittany (with son Braden), and many other treasured family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend services at Lakeside Memorial Park & Funeral Home (10301 NW 25th St, Miami, FL 33172) on May 4th, 2023, at 12:30 pm. Celebration of life to follow at daughter Francine Schubert’s home (18383 SW 136th Ave, Miami, FL 33177).
