Many years have passed, but I always remember Mr. Leonard Luria as a gentleman that I admire so much. I don't know if this note is going to be read, but I want to let everybody know that I used to work for his company at Miami Lakes, Florida, many years back. He was kind, down to earth, and a very special person I will always remember him with gratitude. May he rest in peace.

Gloria, Peter, Nancy and Hank,                                                                     Leonard was special to me as he was my mentor, teacher and father like figure in both as a merchandiser and in life. He was a tough and outspoken man but had a heart of gold. I remember in 1990 when I found out that my mother had passed away, he came to my office and talked to me and comforted me as if I was one of his sons. I will never forget that day! He may have departed us physically but his spirit lives on in the hearts of all the people he touched and I was one those fortunate enough that he shared his precious time. I apologize for this late message of condolences to the Luria family but I have lived in Asia continuously since 2006. He still resides in my heart and thoughts to this day.

I will always hold all of the Luria family in my highest esteem. I learned a lot and enjoyed my time as part of the Luria family working at various of the stores. Mr. Luria's leadership and his human compassion helped me become the man I am today.  Thank You, Sir.
