Lilly Katz

Age 95, of Coral Gables, Florida, passed away October 26, 2013. Lilly was the daughter of Laura and Ludwig Salgo. Lilly was raised in Chemitz, Germany, prior to fleeing the Nazis, never to see her parents again. Lilly was the devoted wife of Morris, of blessed memory, for 57 years. Lilly will be most remembered for her devotion to her family, her work at Jackson Memorial Hospital, and her commitment to others and to charity.

Lilly is survived by her daughter, Sharon (husband Scott) of McLean, Virginia, her grandsons Jordan Higgins and Justin Higgins of Washington D.C., her son Michael (wife, Valerie) of Coral Gables, Florida ,her granddaughter, Danielle Katz Squires, M.D.

( husband Scott Squires) and Ross Ketover(wife Julie).

When asked how she was doing, Lilly always answered, with a big smile, “Never Better!”.

Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel at Mt Nebo Kendall 6900 SW 77 Ave, Miami, Fl .
