My deepest condolences to the family and friends of this wonderful lady. I worked with Miss Lisa at PBSO and really got the honor of knowing her over the past few years in a new job position I have. Down the hall from Legal there’s a row of chairs where some of us would meet while waiting for the ladies room. One day I was sitting there waiting and here comes Lisa out of Legal there was a wet spot on the chair so I said to her don’t sit there and pointed to the wet spot. She said to me “oh that’s the poppy chair” I laughed and said but we can’t flip the cushion over. There were so many little talks we had that I will hold forever in my heart. May you Rest In Peace.

I spent so much time with Lisa throughout high school and USY years as well as college. We had such great times. She would always make me laugh and was such a kind person. I spent many a night in her dorm room as my dorm had no air-conditioning. Unfortunately time and family commitments caused us to drift, however I’m so sad to see her go and she will be in my thoughts and prayers always.

I respected and admired Lisa very much. She was a tremendous asset to PBSO and went out of her way to make sure that a good job did not go unacknowledged. I will keep the peaceful repose of her soul along with her dear friends and family in my prayers. May she rest in peace.

From the moment Lisa started at PBSO I admired her brilliant legal mind, her crazy sense of humor and her willingness to be directly helpful! We became "sisters in Records" and she will be greatly missed by us all in the Records Production Division and will always be in my heart. Thank you to the Rubin family for sharing her with us and I pray for peace and understanding for you all during this most difficult time. RIP my Gator-Pal!

Lisa you were pure class. A biting wit, you made me laugh and I felt happy being around you. You had a great sense of style too. I remember a party you threw when we were in our early 20s and you prepared this beautiful charcuterie board and I remember thinking " that's so classy". To this day it has been my benchmark in all things entertainment. You also had the biggest heart. You were super thoughtful and empathetic.

Your strength after your diagnosis left me in awe. Again, you were my benchmark as I worked my way through my own health issues. You are still somewhere in this universe and if you ever want to come hang out, I would greatly enjoy your company. Love you Ruby.

I worked with Lisa at the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. I was the Corrections Contracts Compliance Manager so Lisa and I would meet a lot going over new contracts and renewed contracts to make sure they were good, sound legal documents our Sheriff could sign. Lisa was such a professional. She was thorough in her reviews of my documents but most of all kind and caring. She knew I spent a lot of time and work on them so when she had corrections or inserted sentences, she did it with respect. I remember one afternoon in the legal conference room we were getting a little punchy writing up the new contract for the “Puppy Program” that would begin the next day at the Drug Farm. We had 4 hours to write it. We started laughing but we got the job done. I so enjoyed Lisa and looked forward to seeing her even though it was mostly legal business. Lisa was my friend and a lady I respected who was smart, honest, kind, caring and a great asset to PBSO. My thoughts and prayers are with the Rubin family during this difficult time. Rest In Peace Lisa!
