(5-17-38) Passed after a long battle with cancer. He was a long-time resident of South Florida. Born in Wells Tannery, PA, he spent most of his youth in the central part of FL and moved to Miami in 1954 to study Civil Engineering at the University of Miami. It was there he met his first wife Carol and started his lifelong career as a Professional Land Surveyor. Together they had five children. In 1973 Louie met his second wife and soul mate, Sharon Faye, with whom he spent the last 35 years. Louie loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing when time allowed. He ran his survey business until he semi-retired at age 65 to start enjoying his hard work. Louie is survived by his eight children: Rosemary (John), Harriet, Lisa (Edmund), Louie, Amy (Matt), Phyllis (Ron), Henry (Tiffany), and Joshua; eleven grandchildren: Ernie, Amanda, Thomas and Biana, Edmund and Bryant, Louie, Kyle, Livia, and Sophie, and Jake Charles; great grandchild: Destiny. Louie is also survived by his brother, Weldon Phillip, and family of Valrico, FL as well as his mother Naomi and Aunt Betty of Chambersberg, PA. The world was a better place because of Louie. He will be missed by many.
