

Max Spiegelman, born in Miami, Florida on September 22, 1935, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18th surrounded by his loving family. Max was a devoted family man and cherished member of the community, and was the second of four sons of Esther and Nathan Spiegelman.
Max lived an extraordinary life, with a focus on his family and passing on traditions. He excelled both academically and athletically being named both to UM Law Review and the Miami High Hall of Fame. He made incredible lifelong friends as a brother of Pi Lam at UF. After graduating law school, Max married his beloved Gail on June 6, 1959. Together they built a beautiful family and large community. Max loved all sporting events, was an original Dolphins and Heat season ticket holder, an avid Hurricanes fan, and a blackjack expert. Max played bridge, tennis, golf, and coached youth sports.
He practiced law with his brother Bob for over 45 years, where he used his JD and CPA to provide excellent representation to his countless clients and friends. A true gentleman with the highest morals and values, he lived life to the fullest and earned the respect of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Survived by his loving wife Gail, sons Gary (Heather), Larry (Tracey), Marc (Danielle), and eleven grandchildren who adored Max, as well as his brother Guy. The entire family is eternally grateful to caretakers who have become family including Lily, Gloria, Heidy, Ely, Sol, Gini, Carmen and Angelica.

A funeral service for Max will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels at Mount Nebo (Kendall), 5900 SW 77th Ave, Miami, FL 33143.
