Dearest Lisa. I will never forget the night I met your mom. Even if I forgot I will always have her earrings to remind me. She was a force of nature! I am so sorry that I am no longer in Miami but when I am able to schedule a visit I hope we can get together. My love to you and your family! May her memory be a blessing.

There are just not enough words to express my feelings for Myrna and my sorrow at hearing of her passing. As an artist my life was so much more enjoyable and forever changed knowing both Myrna and Sheldon. Few people have the ability to make people feel so loved as they have done for so many of us. I will greatly miss Myrna, her amazing laughter and the incredible role model she was for me.
She is truly one beautiful woman!

Dear Sheldon, Donna, and Lisa,
We are so saddened to learn of Myrna’s passing. Our hearts are trembling. Myrna was a lifeblood for so much of our work with art teachers and students, and her support and love is/was beyond remarkable. Her smiling face, her measured words, her unwavering honesty and commitment to excellence—we will remember all that and much, much more forever. May she Rest In Peace. May her memories be a blessing.
With love from all of us at The Education Fund. OX OX

The Lowe Art Museum and I, as its Director, mourn the loss of Myrna Palley. Myrna's vision and generosity made the Lowe a center for contemporary glass, which continues to touch the lives of countless people both on and off of the University of Miami's campus. Her passion for glass was matched only by her depth of knowledge and her commitment to education, community, youth, and the arts. Myrna will be greatly missed by her friends at the Lowe, who will honor her memory and cherish her legacy forever.

On behalf of the family of glass collectors, Myrna will be missed. She was an early force who everyone knew and counted on as she and Sheldon were so important to the South Florida area. Not only did she and Sheldon support the Lowe Museum with a pavillion filled with sculpture made of glass, she encouraged all of us to contribute the best of our holdings to the Lowe. Whenever we walk into the Palley Pavillion we will think of her.
