What a sweet soul Dr. Greenfield was to her patients and those around her. I will never forget the time she spent with me caring for me during a time of great need - I aim to treat my patients with the compassion she showed me many years ago.

Dr. Greenfield was my reason for becoming a Therapist. I will never forget her and I'm very grateful to have met her in my lifetime. My condolences to her family.

Nancy was an incredibly warm, selfless and nurturing woman with a strong emphasis on her family and friends.
When I was her son-in-law in the mid nineties she bought me my first computer which I  to used to develop the very same skill set that I use today.

My dearest Nancy, how I miss our weekly chats at the Beauty Salon. I had the pleasure to be chosen as your Manicures, each week I would look forward to you and Peter coming. For the longest time I'm almost ashamed to say I didn't know your history I didn't know your degrees. You where just Miss Nancy to me, I would do your nails and we would chat!!!! Boy did we ever. I some how always knew I was in the presence of an Angel, of greatness. Later towards the end I was to find out of the great Dr. that you where, of how in a simple conversation in between picking a polish color I confided in you of my troubled adult daughter and you dawn your cape to try to help. I will never forget you my friend, I see you every day in all that is good and beautiful in this world. To me you will remain my Miss Nancy so full of life. I ask you continue to guide me and give me strength. Your for ever proud Nail Technician Vivian....

This fine woman saved my life in 1963 and I was h r patient for the next 50 years.  She helped me become a grown woman, able to contribute to friends and family. All as a result of her wise counsel.  She loved her kids beyond words and seemed to me to be saddened by them in ways she would never reveal,  But she was in PAIN.  I held her when Glen died and she held me when my husband died.  She continued to give and give and I believe she just gave out. What a loss it is to us all.  What a loss.

She helped me through some really tough times in my life, and I considered her family. She'll be sorely missed.

It is with such sadness that I learned of the passing of my dear friend.  How I wish that I had known of her illness.  Yes, I remember her brilliance-Nancy Greenfield was a master class in her work.  I remember her humor, how she could be just "one of the girls", but more than anything, I shall remember her heart.  She loved children, and she just gave and gave. She made such a difference in so many lives. Nancy went to heaven having given to us all the love one human being can give to another.  She was selfless, she was priceless, she was a great gift to us, and those who knew her will never forget her.

Nancy was a kind, loving, and generous person. She also had a special gift.  She could tell when someone was in pain and she was able to give them whatever they needed to heal.  To  Johnny, Gloria, Jackie and Elizabeth, I send my most heartfelt condolences.  You all were blessed to have Nancy in your lives.

It was a pleasure to be one of Dr. Greenfield's many grateful patients. Her kindness, and devotion to her medical practice were remarkable.  I send my deepest sympathy to her beloved, and loving family.

My mom would want us all to still smile...  Her love will will shine happiness upon me and you the rest of our days.  I miss her so.  But will find her in every smile I see.

Although I only new Nancy for several years, she was a stalwart woman of principle and dedication; a most compassionate, sensitive person with a great sense of humor; a woman who trusted her instincts and totally adored her family. She was so proud of all of you, her children, and her grandchildren.  She appreciated her husband, Peter, and her office staff more than they ever knew.  She was the only other woman I know who loved "Snob" perfume.  I shall go buy a bottle in her memory and think of her when I wear it.  I am sorry for your loss and will greatly miss her.

The news came to us at the Beauty Salon and hit us like a ton of bricks. I had the pure pleasure of doing her nails for what seems not enough time. Our conversations during this time and while she was at the palace will for ever be with me. Her smile will guide my way and her strength will keep me going. Rest in peace my dear friend, your are loved my many.

What words are there to say about a woman whose very voice and wise words brought people from the dark into the light. My family had the privlege of having a relationship with Nancy for 37 years. We celebrated all the life cycles. Besides being a wonderful Dr. she was a loyal friend and a true "life saver." I was truly blessed to find her name in the yellow pages 37 yrs. ago. I feel thankful that we were able to get to know your mom a little bit on her several visits to Raleigh during your time at the corner of Fairview and Scales. She loved you all so and was a remarkable woman. I always enjoyed our conversations. So proud of her childen and grandchildren. I will always have fond memories of spending time with Mrs. Greenfield at Deering Bay. She was a very sweet and kind woman.

Nancy was an angel on this Earth, the ultimate child advocate and a genius of a doctor. She was the champion of "feelings" and the expression thereof. Her wisdom and guidance ran deep and seemed to have no bottom. She changed my life and thousands of others' lives in profound and lifelong ways. To all who sought her coaching, she became an irreplaceable resource.  She was the steady hand and head at the wheel. She was always right and led so many of her  lucky students down the right path.  She slept sparingly, preferring instead to devote herself to helping others. How worthwhile to our world her life has been.  She was one of my MVP's and will be DEARLY missed forever.  Sleep well Nancy. You've more than earned it.
