Ned was born in Camden, New Jersey, moved to Miami, and never stopped cheering on his beloved Gators after graduating from the University of Florida. He received his master's degree from the University of Iowa and returned to Miami, finding his passion when hired as a headhunter by the company he would buy and rename Ned Tannebaum & Partners - spending four decades placing executives in successful positions worldwide.
He relished in dealmaking and had an exemplary work ethic which he passed to his children. He loved a good restaurant, traveling, and was passionate about sports, attending Dolphins, Heat, Marlins, and Panthers games, and traveling to sports venues with his children. He loved the theater, especially Broadway, and loved music, especially Elvis. He loved overseeing everything, making sure that anything he touched was perfect.
Ned is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rhoni, son Brian (Lisa), daughter Darcy, granddaughters Alexa and Marissa, brother Ron, and is predeceased by his brother Alan.
Friends and family are welcome to celebrate Ned at Temple Judea, 5500 Granada Blvd. Coral Gables, FL 33146, Monday, December 15, at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, 5900 SW 77th Ave, Miami, FL 33143.
