Phil was predeceased by his father, Irwin Brown, mother, Anita Carson Brown, Stepfather, Hartford George Carson and beloved wife of 45 years, Monica. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Ethel (Bob), niece Lauren (Sam), nephew Robert (Ellie) and grandniece.
A proud, lifelong Floridian, Phil spent his career as a mechanic—first working on aircraft and later serving the Miami Dade County Transportation Department. Outside of work, he enjoyed building and flying control-line model airplanes, a hobby that connected him to a community of fellow enthusiasts.
A Graveside Service was held at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels at Mount Nebo/Kendall on March 29, 2026 at 9:30 am.
