Rhoda passed away peacefully on March 14th, 2021 in Hollywood, FL, at the age of 91. She was born on December 27th, 1929 in New York to Harry and Celia Zeiger. She grew up in both South Falsburg, NY and Miami Beach, FL. Rhoda graduated from the University of Miami and earned a master’s degree from Barry University. She later worked as a social worker.
Rhoda married William Julius on September 9, 1951 and they raised three children, Sidney, Barry and Sherri.
Rhoda was an avid tennis player into her 80’s and loved playing cards with her friends. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Rhoda was a smiling, happy, caring person.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William and son, Barry. She is survived by her son, Sidney (Suzanne) Julius, daughter, Sherri Julius, granddaughters, Shayna, Samantha and Sarah, sisters, Sandra Stonberg and Susan (Allan) Stallop, and five nephews.
Rhoda will be buried at Lakeside Memorial Cemetery in Miami, FL on Tuesday, March 16th. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for her when it is safe to gather.
