Rita Bricker Zukerman, age 99, of Miami, Florida, passed away January 14th, 2026 from natural causes. Rita was born in Windber, Pennsylvania, on October 21, 1926, to Harry and Nellie Bricker. In 1951, she married Arnold Zukerman, and together they settled in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, until relocating to Miami in 1993.
Rita’s greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her daughters, Terri (Paul) Burson and Elle (Charles) Perez-Blanco. She was a loving grandmother to Hallie and Blair Burson, and Chase, Cole, and Christiana Perez-Blanco, and a cherished great-grandmother to Skyler and Adalyn Winstock and Carter Perez-Blanco.
Rita will be remembered with love by family, friends, and all who knew her. Graveside services for Rita Zukerman will be held at Mt. Nebo Kendall Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 19th, at 10:30 am.
