Bob was born on February 21, 1929, in Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Roxbury High School and Suffolk University and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the founder and Chairman of the Board of Prudential Building Materials where he not only enjoyed personal success but was also recognized by his tremendous achievements within the industry. Bob was a generous philanthropist and also helped to improve the lives of the many people he encountered. He was an avid golfer and won many club championships. He and his wife Gloria traversed the globe together enjoying many different cultures and seeing the world’s diverse beauty. He was a huge New England sports fan and especially loved the Boston Red Sox. Bob Kolikof was a great guy. A legend. He was funny and fun to be with. He was an exceptional story-teller. We will miss him so much! The world will not be the same without Bob Kolikof.
Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria, his father Albert, his mother Anna, and his sister Beverly. “GB” will be greatly missed by his family-Donna, Michael, Jonathan, Chantal, Jill, Paul, Adam, Stacey, Sadie, Nora, Violet, Mason, Skyler and Zachary.
