Roberta Ann Green

January 3rd 1945 - September 23rd, 2026

Roberta “Bobbie” Green was born on January 3, 1945, in New York to Joseph and Florence Shulman. In 1952, her family moved to DiLido Island in Miami Beach. Bobbie graduated from “Beach High” in 1962 and the University of Miami in 1965, later earning a master’s degree in education administration from FIU.

Bobbie was a devoted educator who loved teaching at R.R. Moton Elementary School and Ernest R. Graham Academy. She was also an accomplished businesswoman. Together with her mother and sister, she ran a successful business on Miami’s 40th Street, now part of the Design District, specializing in wall coverings, fabrics, and patio furniture.

Bobbie raised her three children in the Village of Pinecrest and imparted her strong family values, work ethic and love of life to all who were fortunate to know her. A breast cancer survivor since 1982, she lived with strength and resilience.

Bobbie was a member and student at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. She loved boating, the Florida Keys, and traveling throughout the United States and around the world with her children and grandchildren.

Bobbie is survived by her sisters, Gail Lane Corenblum (Stuart) and Rosanne Lubin; her children, Tracey Spiegelman (Larry), Kim Moed, and Andrew Green (Jill Balli); and her grandchildren, Lindsay, AJ, Max, Sydney (Zach Edelman), Chase, Lexi, Morgan, Alex and Veronica.

Bobbie’s life was centered on family, a love of learning, and adventure. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a family who will carry her love with them always.
