Boca Raton, Florida - Roslyn 'Roz' Singer, who was born in Charlotte, NC on February 3, 1930, passed away on January 14, 2021 in Boca Raton, FL. Roz was happily married to David Singer for 63 years, who passed away on February 28, 2019. She is survived by her four children, Robert Singer, Marilyn Singer Hubert, Steven Singer and Lisa Singer, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, as well as being the "Favorite Aunt" to many nieces and nephews.
She was the quintessential Southern Jewish woman who was known for her southern drawl as well as her inimitable charm. She was wonderfully kind, warm, gracious, funny and anyone in her company felt special. She was particularly known to be a great cook. She could cook Jewish food in one hand and Southern food in the other, but without a doubt her fried chicken was the best.
