6/23/2012 in Coral Gables. He was born in 1929 in New York and moved
to Coral Gables in 1947. He attended University of Miami. He was a
graduate of the Pennsylvania State College of Optometry(class of 1953)
and successfully practiced optometry in Miami for 38 years.
He was active in many organizations including the West Dade Lions
Club, Coral Gables Jaycees, 55 years member of the Sports Car Club of
America, Power Squadron(CMDR), Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Dade
County Optometric Assn.
He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed boating, deep sea fishing, scuba
diving, sports car racing, motorcycles and flying. He enjoyed
traveling to many countries.
He was married for 63 years and is survived by his wife, Rosalind
Dobkin, sons Glenn(Nadsia), Kenneth, and Dennis(Sheri), and his
grandchildren Katelyn and Ian.
