

Steve served in the U.S Army 1967 to1969 during the Vietnam War. After returning home, he pursued his passion for computers and magic, helping found a company that made magic tricks and teaching himself computer programing. He opened Michigan’s first computer stores, worked on early industrial robots in Detroit, and programmed one of Canada's first automated warehouses.
Later in life Steve moved to Florida where he met and married his wife, Julie. Together they raised six children Jean-Nicolas, Steven Jr, Giovanni, Kristoffer, Kyle and Meaghan.
Throughout his life he chose to belong to organizations that would teach his children the importance of volunteering, helping others, and always doing their best. He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, National Order of the Trench Rats, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America and the Knights of Columbus.
As a lifelong scout, Steve was the Cubmaster to his sons Pack and a Brotherhood member in the Order of the Arrow. He was a proud father of five Eagle Scouts.
Steve dedicated himself to his family, his community and every organization he served. He was a gifted storyteller with a lifetime of experiences who could connect with everyone he met. Steve will be remembered as a force of nature, hardworking, intelligent, generous and steadfast in his beliefs. His warm stories and spirit will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
