Stu was a dear friend, and a great physician. He delivered my children and we stayed in touch through the years. Not having heard from him in quite a long time, my research brought me to the sad news of his passing.
Rest in peace dear friend, you will always remain in my heart.

Stuart was my Dads cousin and I loved him all my life. While I wasn't able to see him often in recent years, we stayed in touch and I knew he cared. I had hoped to come to New Orleans to see him dance, and regret I didn't get there sooner with my son. So sorry to learn of his passing, it is sad but hopefully he's teaching my Dad and his other relatives and friends some dance moves in heaven.

Stuart, was a very nice and fun person to be around. May you rest in peace, my friend! Caterina Occhipinti, Zydeco and Cajun dancer.

We will miss Stuart very much! We still can't believe he is gone, but he lives on in our memories as the fun loving, very intelligent, knowledgeable and witty physician and colleague and friend that he was. May he rest in peace.

Stuart was the best friend and colleague a person could have. He was a brilliant physician, caring and fun loving individual. He enjoyed being with children and serving those in most need. As a transplant to LA, he fell in love with the culture...the people, Cajun food and his most favorite, Zydeco dancing. He taught me how to dance and you could always find him at local festivals, Jazz Fest and Rock'n Bowl. His sense of community and zest for life will be missed by many. Rest in peace dear friend.
