I am so very sorry for the loss.  Anissa was a great co-worker when in Knoxville.


My sister was a person that I cannot describe in words. The love she showed was immeasurable. 

I met Anissa in '98 when I was teaching a Religious Studies class and she was a graduate student in my class. She was very bright and engaging, and we became fast friends after the course was over, as we were close in age. Unfortunately, we lost touch over the years but reconnected on Facebook 3 years ago. I found out that life had taken both of us to Florida, and that we both lived on the outskirts of Jacksonville, only about 45 minutes from one another. We had promised to get together one of these days but never solidified those plans.  Nevertheless, I have enjoyed seeing her adventures and her beautiful family on Facebook. Even though we had not seen each other in years, Anissa made a huge impact and impression on me years ago. I loved hearing about her experiences studying in Jordan, and I loved that she was intelligent, interesting, beautiful, and that she had a heart of gold. I have thought a lot about her over the years, and I extend my condolences to her loving family.

I will never forget the times I spend at the Kelly's. Anissa was joyful and caring and made me feel like I was home. These moments will live on with me forever. Thank you for everything,

I worked with Anissa at Pepsi during audits and also spent a lot of time training with Anissa. She was a wonderful, knowledgeable and sweet person to work with. Her passing was such a shock, she was always so upbeat and fun. Condolences and prayers to all of her family.

Anissa was a student worker & a major in Religious Studies. She was always a ray of sunshine in our office & loved helping the professors & other students. She was so happy after meeting Tom & having a family. So proud of both her girls.  Loved seeing all her adventures she posted on FB.

I knew Anissa through Jenny and Carrie, so  I have seen her through their eyes for more than 20 years now. She was an exceptional human and her loss for each of you is something I cannot fathom. I am so very sorry for her loss. The world is a lesser place without her, of that I am sure. 

Anissa was a high school classmate, two years younger than I...  I remember her most as an energetic cheerleader and just all around amazing girl...  My deepest sympathy for her family and friends...  The world has lost a special person...

My thoughts and prayers are with your family.  The pain of your heart is because you loved her so much.  She loved you that much too.  She will forever be your angel.  

Anissa was my co-worker for many years but also a dear friend. Sending my condolences to Tom, Cassie, and Kenzie. Anissa was such a joy to work with and be around. She had so much love for her family and friends. I will miss her dearly. She is in my thoughts and prayers.

baptized in 1986 at the lake in March and it was cold. So I know we will meet again.

I've known Anissa since the 5th grade.  She had such a bright spirit for life and you couldn't help but smile when she was around.  Continued prayers for the family.

Where to begin.   This amazing women was my cousin but I  considered her my sister.  I can not express how much I love her and how much I will miss her and our talks. She means so much to me as know she does to her husband and girls.  Sending all of you my love and prayers.  Until we meet again cuz you will always be in my heart. 

One of my dear friends from high school.  You always had such a contagious smile and sweet spirit. Praying for comfort and peace during the difficult days ahead. 

I have always loved Anissa so much.  Even though we hadn't seen each other in years she was always one of my favorite friends.  I'm sure she had no idea how many people she touched with her smile.  My heart goes out to all her family and friends.
