Anthony “Anty” Joseph Moffo of Lake City, Florida, was taken from us far too soon and will be remembered forever. Anthony tragically lost his life in a traffic accident on September 26, 2026, at the age of 33.
Anthony was born on November 11, 1992, in Bellaire, Ohio. He was the proud owner and operator of Moffo’s Towing, where his hard work, dedication, and willingness to help others were a reflection of the person he was.
Anthony will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his Mom, Tammy and Step-Dad, Roger Johnson; Dad, Joe and Kelsey Moffo; Sister, Breeanna Moffo; Brothers, David Moffo and Avery Moffo; Grandmother, Shirley Moffo; Grandfather Joseph and Grand-Mom, Rose Moffo; Grandma Terri Johnson; Mimi Michelle Smith; Nieces, Tynslee, Taylee, and Raellyn; Nephews, Zechariah and Mayson; and Chad Green, Shannon Raba, Chris Gibbs, who were his “Brothers from another Mother," and friends; Courtney Morgan and Stacey Nelson. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members who loved him dearly.
Anthony was preceded in death by his infant brother, Joshua Alexander Moffo; maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Nancy Griffith Sr., and Uncle Kevin Moffo.
Anthony’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His life, his laughter, his friendships, and the memories he created with his family and those closest to him will never be forgotten.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Green Cove Springs Congregational Holiness Church, 2079 FL-16, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043, with Pastor English officiating.
Burial will follow at Long Branch Cemetery, 5500 Long Branch Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32234.
Following the burial, please reconvene for a Celebration of Life Reception at All County Wrecker, 4353 County Rd. 218, Middleburg FL 32068.
