Betty Louise Douglas was born on June 13, 1938 and she went home to heaven on December 23, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Jerry and her children, Billy, Kellie, Cindy and Donna. She was reunited in heaven with her beloved daughter, Kandie who went to be with Jesus in 2006. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Shaun, Kassi, Brandi, Tara, Amanda, Kailie, David, Jordan, Nathan, Isaac, Gavin, Savannah, Tyler, Jaiden, Jacob, Rachel, Michael, Bradley, Dale, Russell, Bren, Kaiden and Braxton. Betty led an inspirational life, she always had a sweet smile and encouraging words for people and her heart was in singing for Jesus. She was a faithful member of Blanding Blvd Baptist Church from 1972 until, in 2012, the later stages of dementia kept her from being able to attend. Her family and friends will miss her until we get up there. Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Monday, December 29, 2014 at HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
