One of my very first impressions as a vistor to Blanding  Baptist was hearing Betty sing. I was struck by the perfect balance of volume and quality. Put another way, Betty wasn't loud, you almost had to concentrate to hear her, but the pure sweetness of her voice and the conviction with which she sang was POWERFUL! That was 1984 and she sustained it, living just like she sang: quietly, sweetly, and powerfully. The angels can take a break while she solos. We will MISS her!

Betty was a beautiful, humble lady. Betty had the voice of an angle without even reading music. Singing was her God given talent and she used it well. I sat beside Betty at Blanding Blvd Baptist church for over 25 years. Betty was beautiful inside and out in season and out of season. Betty and her girls went all the way to Boaz, Alabama to sign at my wedding. She was a friend indeed. My only regret is I mad her promise to sign at my funeral. You can be assured her voice will be there on one of her many songs on tape. Betty, I will lessen to you sing again a new song in Heaven. My deepest condolences to the family.

I've loved Betty since we sang together at our children's wedding ( Cindy and Lincoln).  Our shared grandson, David Sinclair, said to me some years ago, "My Grandma Betty is the best Christian I know"....a true and fitting testimony to her spiritual influence on all who have been privileged to know her.  My condolences to her beloved family.

Betty was a close and dear friend of mine. I will miss her dearly. My deepest condolence to Jerry and all of her children. See was a sweet lady and a wonderful christion lady. She will be missed by all that new her and how much she loved her Lord. Betty you are now well so get in the Holy Angels choir and sing loud so I can here that wonderful voice of yours.
