Betty Jean Fulmer Rueber, 69, of Bradford County, FL, born Betty Jean Fulmer passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018, in Orange Park, Florida. She was born in Selma, Alabama on September 16, 1948. Daughter of the George W. Fulmer and Bertie S. (Mizzell) Hamlin. She retired from the U.S. Federal Government and became a business owner in the florist industry.
She is survived by her loving Husband of 39 years, John A. Rueber: Daughters and Son-in-laws, Michelle and Raymond Goodbread, Ginger and Christopher Hudnall: Son, Anthony Akin: Grandchildren, Meghane McGrane (Cody), Avery Hudnall, Morganne McGrane, Timothy McGrane and Austina Akin: Great Grandson, Abel Pflieger: Brother and Sister-in-law, William D. Fulmer, Sr., (Patricia) Nephews, William D. Fulmer, Jr., (Sally) Jason and Brent Carter, Niece, Deborah A. Krecker, (Michael) and several great nieces and cousins. She is predeceased by her Sister, Carolyn Carter and Brother, George Fulmer.
She loved cooking, gardening, canning, crocheting and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her sense of humor kept everyone in laughter. She was a loving Mother, Wife, Granny, Great Granny, Sister and Aunt.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Sunday, June 24th at Holly Hill Funeral Home and Monday, June 25th Burial 11:00 am Holly Hill Funeral Home.
