Still have my hair done at J C Penney and always think of Cathy with fondness. She was always so kind.

I just found out about Cathy's passing. She was a great hairstylist and listener. Many times I sat in her chair venting about life and she always remembered where we left off. She was the only one who cut my daughter's hair. She was a wonderful person and will be missed. Rest in peace, Cathy.

Over the years, Ms Cathy became my therapist as well as my hair stylist. She was an absolute magician at both!
 I Loved the way her face lit up when she spoke of her grand babies!
When I first came to her about 9 years ago, I was severely depressed & my hair was a complete mess. I had developed a large bald spot that my doctors couldn’t figure out how to treat. I had tried everything & was about to give up & buy a wig in order to cover it all up. I’ll never forget how she sat me down & simply said, “I can fix you up”. And she did! She recommended a product that turned out to be the answer. This beautiful person not only styled my hair (to cover the spot as it healed), her kind & confident demeanor helped me to feel beautiful myself!
My thoughts & prayers go out to all of her loved ones. She was truly a kind and beautiful soul, and she will be sorely missed.

Cathy was a beautiful lady inside and out.  I very much appreciated the conversations we had as she expertly styled my hair over the years.  Her favorite topic was how much she loved her grandchildren.  She was a genuine, caring person and was so talented.  I will truly miss her.

Cathy cut & colored my hair for 16 years.  Every month we would spend a good two hours visiting and telling each other about our lives. We would talk about books we read, movies we saw and tried to solve all the problems of the world.  I am missing  Cathy a lot. My heart goes out to her parents, daughters and grandchildren.  I am so sorry for all she went through the past year. She will always be with me. Rest in Peace Cathy.

Cathy was my hair stylist for many years. We shared pictures of our grand children . When I traveled out west, I would send pictures of crazy things in hope to give Cathy a laugh. 
She was a good listener and comfort to me in loss of my mom and sister. 
Cathy always had a smile, even under her mask. She will be missed by all who are blessed to have her touch their lives.

I enjoyed talking to Cathy at JC Pennys while she styled my hair. She always had a smile and words of encouragement. She will be greatly missed. She was truly a lovely person.

Cathy was my stylist / therapist for many years and a true kindred spirit.  She loved her family and we’d often share our grandchildren’s recent photos while she worked her magic on my hair. Wit and humor always played a big part in our conversations and  her smile was contagious.  My heartfelt condolences go out to her family. 

I am so sorry for your loss.  Cathy began styling my hair from almost the first day she started working at JC Penney’s.  She was always so caring and had the most cheerful personality.  She loved talking about her family and was so proud of her daughters and grandchildren.  I considered her a dear friend who I will greatly miss.  May God give each of you peace and comfort.  Denise

To the family, just wanted you to know Cathy has been my hairdresser for almost 15 years and I will miss her lovely personality and great care to give me the best hair style ever! So very sad, but all my memories of Cathy are special. Lynne.
