Charles Bennett Locke, age 84, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. He was born in Kellyton, Alabama to the late, Joe and Helen Locke. He served his country proudly, retiring after 30 years of service in the US Navy.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Ann Locke; children: Michael (Elizabeth) Locke, Stephen (Anita) Locke and Susan (Eric) Crabtree; brother, Ronnie Locke; grandchildren: Brian (Elizabeth) Perkins, Diane (Philip) Sutherin, Kristine Locke, Sarah Locke, Justin (Kaylia) Locke, Caddi (Michael) Mayfield, Mattie Locke, Victoria (Michael) McCreadie and Tyler (Hayli) Crabtree; great-grandchildren: Emily, Eleanor, Matthew, Samuel, Elliott, Abigail, Landon, Lily, Ryder, Declan, Finley and Kingston; and a host of extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Calvary Methodist Church, 112 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073.
Graveside service with full military honors will be held 11AM, Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
