Charles Ernest Renshaw Sr., a beloved and faithful father and grandfather, passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on March 23, 1941, in Essex, Maryland, to the late Mary A (Fisher) and Charles Renshaw, Charles was a hard-working and inspirational individual who touched the lives of many with his selfless and loyal nature.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Watts), and his brother, Joseph Renshaw. He is survived by his loving and devoted children, Charles Renshaw, Jr. (Renee), Cynthia Renshaw (Don) and Thomas Renshaw (Jennifer).He leaves behind his companion of three years, Vicky Russell, as well as his siblings, William Renshaw, David Renshaw, Myrtle Skinner, and Cindy Vitto. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Karyad Hallam and Summer Bell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Residing in Middleburg, Florida, Charles was known for his humorous and resilient spirit. He loved his Lord and family deeply and enjoyed taking care of people. Charles was very personable and fun to be around. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, shooting guns, and going to car shows. Physical health was very important to him, and he enjoyed riding bikes, running and taking long walks.
Charles worked for General Motors in Maryland, he also worked for Publix, Gordon Chevrolet and for the Clay County Sheriff Auxiliary in Florida.
