My Mother My Angel

Once upon a time an angel held my hand, 
She wiped away my tears and helped me understand.
Our time on earth is brief, there's lessons to be learned,
Each precious day God gives us another page is turned.
Every chapter full of memories, times of joy and tears,
Triumphs and defeats, through every passing year.
She loved us unconditional, always by our side,
When no one else would listen, in her we could confide.
With gentle words of wisdom she led us on our way,
Down the paths of righteousness if ever we did stray. 
She saw the light in everyone and gave with no regrets,
Always from her heart let's us not forget.
Angels come in many forms, for me it is my mother,  
With love I cannot say in words there'll never be another.  
Every day I turn the page in my heart will ever remain,  
Everything she taught me as I stroll down memory lane.  
Thank you God for giving me the most priceless of all treasures,
Help my Lord to keep alive her memory here forever.
I pray that I can some day be everything she hoped I would,  
That's she smiling down from heaven knowing she did good.  
As we gather here today there's no ending to her story,
Another chapter has begun full of grace and glory.
Gods called her to his heavenly home, part of his great plan,
Although it may be hard, we all must understand.
Faith is what is hoped for, things we cannot see,
Heaven is promised to all of us if only we believe.

Baby sister I will love you always. Forever in my heart you will be. We are here on earth but a fleeting minute before God calls us back home. You touched so many lives you'll never know how to much a Blessing you are.

Sister you are forever in my thoughts and prayers. I know your out of Pain, we will see each other again in Heaven with Daddy and Voughn our brother. I promise my sister to try to be there for Marty and Martina. I truly wish you didn't have to be called home so early in her life. However I'm so very thankful you and she shared so much while you where here. She will live with you being such a main part of here life while you where here. I went through the deposit box today. I found Daddy's wallet and he has written in his wallet when you found out you where having a girl. She has and will be a blessing in all our life's just like you have been little sister. I love and will truely miss you, till we see each other again.

So sorry for your loss. Continued prayers of comfort and healing for your family.

Brother Marty and little princess Martina, you are both holding up so well I am so proud of you. Looking  at the pictures today on the wall and on the cd reminded me of a saying I heard once. Let all you happy memories hold you tight and comfort you during the rough days ahead. Whenever you are sad just look at these pictures and remember the good times.  We love you and will be keeping you in our prayers.

Uncle Mart and Martina, I am so deeply saddened by your loss. Some of the best memories I have as a child were going to visit Aunt Christine and Uncle Mart. I always loved playing Sega with her and watching Disney movies! I love you all so much!

Uncle Marty and Martina...words cannot express the sadness we feel at the sudden loss of Christine.  She was a fine lady, funny to be around, and had a heart of gold.  We look back with fond memories on when you guys came up and stayed with us when Grandma June passed, and she was complaining about how cold it was....and how Jon took Martina and you to the fire station he was at and showed you all around while Christine and I stayed home and talked and laughed.  We will miss her greatly and our prayers and warmest wishes are with you two in this time.  May God's grace and comfort surround you both and give you shelter during this time of sorrow. Dear Marty and Martina,

Looking at the pictures that were put up on funeral home, reminded me of when I first met Christine. I don't remember the exact time and place, but I remember how happy I was to have a sister in law around my age! The reason I can't remember the exact time and place is because it just seemed like Christine fit right in with the family. Like she had always been there. She was down to earth and spoke her mind, which I admired. And she was such a good Mom! 

Marty, I remember how happy Christine and you were when you found out she was pregnant! Martina, you were so loved and cherished right from the very start! I remember Christine was interested in homeschooling Martina. She would call and ask me for advice and suggestions, she took it very seriously. Christine and Martina went on so many fun field trips and did so many fun things together.  As Martina got older and decided to attend public school, Christine still took Martina to all sorts of functions, including Girl Scouts. She loved you Martina, so very much! 

I hope those memories will hold you tight and give both of you a little comfort.
