Constance Moore Chaplin, 62, passed away on May 10, 2018. She was born in Washington DC and had the very best job in the whole world, being a mother, grandmother and best friend. Connie was a very funny, loving, honest, open minded, direct, empathetic and caring person. She was a fierce friend and protector of the people she loved. She considered her fur babies as part of her family. Connie was always there to listen, give great advice or just to put a smile on your face. She enjoyed being surrounded in love and laughter with family and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Margaret Moore Jr., brother Albert Styles and sister, Patricia Small, her fur babies Honey, Jr, Susie, Peppy, Whisper and Max. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale T. Chaplin; son, Johnny Small Jr.; 3 daughters, Haliegh Small, Janette Chaplin, Patty Harr; brother, Joseph Moore III; sisters: Mabel Buffkin, Linda Buffkin, Barbara Bracy and Molly Bordeaux; 4 granddaughters; Kelsi Harr, Telza Putnam, Alizta Pelfrey and Carzin Cheyenne Pelfrey; a grandson, Lenox Harr; 2 great-granddaughters: Braelyn Putnam and Willow Sheets; 4 great-grandsons, Tommy Lundgren, Browley Budd, Tekota Putnam and Zebidah Miller. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at HARDGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL with visitation 1 hour prior to service from 10-11 AM. Private burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
