Della Harris, age 88, went home to be with the Lord June 21, 2012. She was born in Maxville, FL and was a member of Middleburg Church of God since 1954. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Donald Harris, parents Ellis and Polly Padgett, brothers Fred, Marcus and Speedy Padgett, sisters Ethel Morris, Deal Padgett and Betty Kersey, 3 sons Carlton, Clifton and Connie Harris and daughter Carlene Masters. Survivors include son Clayton Harris (Theresa), 5 daughters Claudia Taylor(Harry), Christine Shreve(Charles), Peggi Allbritton(Alan), Cassie Rhoden, and Carol Green (Randy), brother Ben Padgett, 2 sisters Erma Bell and Joy Thomas, 35 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Middleburg Church of God, 2728 Howard Rd. with Rev. Harry Douglas officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Rd. Middleburg, FL 32068. Interment will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
