Edith Janet Fording

Edith was born in Frazeysburg, Ohio to the late Edith Alice (Hostetler) and Joseph William Hardesty.

Preceding her in death is her son, Elmer Robert Schinke, III and a daughter Laura Taylor and son-in-law George Taylor. Brother Joseph Hardesty and sister-in-law Anna Louise Hardesty. Three sisters: Erma Lloyd and brother-in-law Wayne Lloyd, Louva Somers and brother-in-law Joseph Somers, June Moran and brother-in-law William Moran. Great-Grandchild Bleu Shield.

She is survived by a son Timothy Joseph (Hazelbelle) Schinke. Two daughters: Pamela Jo (James) Cosko and Edith Alice (Nelson) Cooper. Grandchildren: Paul and Stephanie Shield, Shelley Taylor, Scott and Beth Schinke, Tee Jay Schinke, Jeremy and Chrissy Stevens, Beth Hetzel, David and Emily Cooper, Steven Cooper, Daniel and Jennifer Cooper, Curtis and Tammy Clements. Great-Grandchildren: Dakota Shield, Calista Somers, Adrien Schinke, Gavin, Gracie and Gabby Stevens, Johnny and Cienna Hetzel, Kayla, Hunter,and Levi Ivins, Derek Clements, Khloe, Christian, Dominic and Skyler Cooper, Steven, Jr., Ciara and Ryan Cooper, Jerry, Joey Stephanie and Emma Rachel Schinke.

A visitation for Edith will be held Monday, August 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage - Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Rick Dougherty officiating, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. Entombment afterwards in Holly Hills Memorial Park.
