Survived by her loving husband, Robert Edward Janak, daughter Bethany Marie DeBlasis, and granddaughter Montana Jordan Malburg.
In college, as an aspiring artist, majoring in General Design at Garland College in Boston, Massachusetts. In her career, a successful Opthalmologist in the Eyewear field she worked for the first company to successfully perform Lasix eye surgery in the United States; and was regional manager of New England for a major conglomerate. Blessed to retire at age 55; she returned to her true passion of the arts. So naturally talented she excelled at many mediums, including watercolor painting, quilting and pottery. She loved her garden and was once a member of the African Violet Society. When not working or creating masterpieces; you could find her praising the Lord at church. A devoted christian and Sunday School Superintendent. Always kind, generous and always quick to help or lend a guiding hand to all she knew.
A visitation with the family will begin on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 10:00AM-12:00PM at Holly Hill Chapel of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road. After a brief reception, Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM at Black Creek Church of Christ, 3216 County Road 218 East, Middleburg, FL with Pastor Steve Atnip officiating.
She will be laid to rest in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 10:30AM, Lane # 1.
