

Emma Dedor, a beloved, kind-hearted, gentle, and compassionate soul, passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on May 22, 1932, in Bessarabia, Moldova, Emma lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and community.
Emma immigrated to Germany from Moldova, where she met the love of her life, Edgar Dedor, at a dance. It was love and attraction at first sight, and they married in 1955. In November of the same year, the couple embarked on a new journey to America aboard the New Yorker. Emma gave birth to her first daughter a month later and went on to have two more daughters, living a happy and loving life. She and Edgar were married for 62 wonderful years. The loving couple made Fairlawn, New Jersey their home for 38 wonderful years before relocating to Eatontown, New Jersey. Emma and Edgar made one last location change in their journey when they made the decision to make Green Cove Springs, Florida their home in 2005.
Emma was a loving homemaker who raised her three children and supported her husband throughout their marriage. Her love and legacy are displayed through her vibrant and colorful life, and her family for generations will follow in her footsteps.
Emma had a passion for crocheting and knitting, and she enjoyed her daily Kaffee Klatsch. She relished going dancing every Saturday with Edgar until his passing and loved embarking on her German excursions with her German Club.
Emma is survived by her daughters, Ramona Demidon and Heidi Gaetano; her brother, Robert Vix; her grandchildren, James (Mina) Cole, Joseph (Yara) Crawford, Kimberly (Dave) Siedel, Alex Gaetano, and Noelle Gaetano; and her great-grandchildren, James Cole, Emma Lucas, Owen Siedel, and Scarlett Crawford, and one brother Robart Vix. She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Arthur Dedor; her parents, Rudolph and Helen Vix; her daughter, Diane Crawford; her brothers, Amil, Otto, Rudolph, and Eduard Vix; and her sister, Anna Marie.
Visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Florida, on December 4, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park at 11:00 am.
Emma's legacy will continue to shine through her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
