Aunt Peggy, I am so grateful for being able to reconnect with Uncle Eugene and you at the reunions. I will carry Uncle Eugene with me in my heart. My heartfelt condolences and love to you all. Bless you.

Clark Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Clark. I served with him on the FIP CDD Board. He was a dedicated leader and a gentleman. He volunteered many hours to make FIP a wonderful place to live and raise a family. His expertise was invaluable.  I am grateful for his service and he will be missed. Many prayers for your family.

Peggy & Family,
Miles have kept us apart for many years but memories of Gene and your family have always been with us.   You were one of the first couples we met when we started attending Calvary UMC.    Singing in the choir there and joking at practices, all the potluck meals we shared together there and Cursillo weekends and serenades are just some of our memories.    You have always been special to us.    Hearing of Gene’s passing was such a shock.    But God has a plan for us.   Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.   We send our love to you and wish we could be there for the funeral.   We will be there in spirit with you.   May God bless you and hold and comfort you during this loss.   Love you so much!

Met Gene when he and others were transferred from Richmond to Louisville, Ky  in late 70's. We were both transferred to Jacksonville 7-1-1984 and were in Car Accounting together until I moved to Intermodal  or Gene moved to transportation. I forget which came first. We played golf together on The Tour on Saturdays and would run into each other now and then as we both lived in Orange Park. I had great respect for  Gene as a man, a Husband to Peggy and Father. I also retired in 2000 from CSX . My thoughts and prayers are with Gene's family.

I will really miss you. First of all my Sunday School Class for which you were my teacher.  How I loved those Sundays.  Your beautiful
voice in the choir and solos at different times.  Our times together
in the Birthday Club, Friendship Club and other activities at our
church.   My biggest concern regarding your death is that you
will see JESUS before me. You will always be remembered.

To Peggy, Genia, John and the family, you are in my prayers.  Gene will certainly be missed at Calvary, as his dedication was known among it’s members. Gene’s health had been declining, I know, but it was still a shock to learn of his passing. During this pandemic,  restrictions may keep us apart, but Gene’s memory will always live in our hearts. May God bless and keep you during this time.
