Eugene Wallace Cochran III

Eugene W. Cochran, CMC (SCW) Ret, aka "Butch" passed away on September 20, 2017. He was born June 14, 1951 in Newton, Kansas. He recently retired from Hubbard Road Construction. He will always be remembered by many as "our" Gentle Giant who loved life, laughter, family, but most importantly God. He was a wonderful father to Mariah Cochran, Shane Cochran, as well as to his step children Theresa Graef, Jason Graef, and Michael Casterline. They had his heart for many years until his wife Chrisann stole it. He will always be remembered as the “dotting dad”. He was a wonderful big brother to Rosalie Satterfield, Theodore Cochran, Glen Cochran, Kathy Cotton, and Karol Cochran. He was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Mary Cochran, baby brother Andrew Cochran, Floyd Cochran, and his previous wife Wendy McClelland Cochran to whom he loved and missed dearly. He cherished the simple things in life and always yearned to learn something new. He was excited to share his knowledge of life and loved sharing jokes with everyone. Services for Eugene Cochran will be Wednesday September 27, 2017 at South Middleburg Baptist Church 4565 Alligator Blvd Middleburg, FL 32068 the visitation will be 3pm-4pm with the funeral to follow at 4pm. Arrangements are under the care of HARDAGE-GIDDENS HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME 3601 Old Jennings Rd. Middleburg, FL 32068.
