Evelyn Cooper Craig, 86 of Green Cove Springs, Florida passed away peacefully on July 23, 2024. She was born to the late Hazel (Waddell) and General Albert Cooper on November 6, 1937 on Fox Mountain, North Carolina. The family later moved to Florida for better overall health. Evelyn had obtained her Associates Degree in Business that opened her to travel the United States with Aggreko North America. She was a dedicated employee for over 10 years. Evelyn was married to the late husband, Michael Craig for 42 years before his passing. She attended Baymeadows Baptist Church for many years. Her hobbies included; ceramics and family time with her sons and playing BINGO! with her son and friends at the Elks Club and St. Catherine’s Catholic Church.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her brother Bud Cooper and sisters; Mary Moss, Elsie Bradham, Grace Hughes, Elinore Cox and Mary Thomas. She is survived by her loving and devoted family. Sons; Thomas Marlowe of Green Cove Springs, FL and Scott Marlowe of Denver, CO, grandsons; Rick Marlowe and Ross Marlowe.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home located at 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, Florida 32068 at 6:00 pm. Family will receive guests from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
