Floyd Mosley

Floyd Mosley, age 87, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022. Floyd was born and raised in Middleburg, FL. He was the son of the late, George and Alene Mosley, served his country proudly in the US Army and was a Truck Driver by trade.

Floyd loved to hunt and fish, garden, cook and eat. He loved his family, friends and his God. Floyd was a big personality with a big heart, very colorful and endearing. He never met a person he didn’t like and if you knew him you were better for it. He will be truly missed every day.

Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sybil D. Mosley; 2 sons: Greg Mosley and Tim Mosley; 2 daughters: Teresa (Jim) Snell and Tammy (Tim) Kruse; 3 brothers: Charles (Diane) Mosley, G.B. (Carol) Mosley and J.C. Mosley; 3 sisters: Gerry (Charles) Johnson, Wilma Welborn, Kathy (Walter) Huntley; 5 grandchildren: Heather Mosley, Kim Francis, Deanna Snell, Liam Kruse and Ian Kruse; 2 great-grandchildren: Greenlee Francis and Brynlee Francis; and a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Funeral service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, August 18, 2022 at South Middleburg Baptist Church, 4565 Alligator Blvd, Middleburg, FL with visitation held 1 hour prior to service at the church. Burial will follow at Padgett Cemetery, 4500 Hattie Nolan Road, Middleburg, FL.
