

Frank G. Vecchio, 77, passed away on May 21, 2026. He was born on March 14, 1949, to the late Frank A. Vecchio and Mary T. Vecchio (Maiorca). He lived in College Point, Queens before moving to Long Island and then retiring to Middleburg, Florida.
He worked 45 years for the United States Postal Service. Frank enjoyed the theater, New York Mets, New York Jets, New York Yankees, and the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Middleburg, Florida. Frank is preceded in death by his brother Robert Vecchio and sister Carolyn (Vecchio) Salzano. He is survived by his wife Lisa (Monti) Vecchio. He will always be loved and missed by his family. His nephew Richard Vecchio and his wife Julee (Miller) Vecchio and his nephew Kristopher Vecchio, his son Julian Vecchio. His nephew Matthew Vecchio and his wife Gizeth Vecchio; their children Giuliana Vecchio and Vincent Vecchio. His nephews Scott Vecchio and Tyler Vecchio. His nephew Dominick Salzano, his wife Treasa, his nephew Frank Salzano, his niece Linda Salzano. His sister-in-law Karen Monti-Mather and her husband Mark Mather. Their children Zackary Prieto (Ally Brown), Alicia (Mather) Terrana and her husband Brandon Terrana and their son Bodhi. His brother-in-law Robert Monti, his wife Mollie (Wurm) Monti, their children Eliza Monti and Gabrielle Monti.
A special remembrance and thank you to Martin Horowitz (deceased) his wife Brenda Horowitz and their daughter Erica Horowitz who was thought of as his niece. Martin and Frank were fans of all things New York Jets and New York Mets. Also, Loren Vecchio is a special person. All of you were very special to Frank. He loved you all so very much.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by family.
